Buffum, Here We Come!

It is with great excitement, after much anticipation and prayer, that I inform y’all that we’ve officially found our home for our Sunday Gatherings (although many of you have already seen the posts via Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook). I was able to tour the school this past week and was more impressed than I had originally assumed. The auditorium was a lot cleaner, a lot bigger, and a lot more nicer than I thought. The theater-type seating and natural uplighting add a warm feel to the overall experience. And, to top it all off, the “wing” where our children’s ministry will meet is an easy walking distance behind the main stage of the auditorium.

It’s all coming together and the vision the Lord gave me a few years back is slowly unfolding, as it already has been.

We began our church planting journey with Care, then created space for Discipleship to happen through our first Missional Community. And, now, we’re on the verge of launching our Sunday Gatherings. There’s definitely a lot more work to be done for The Branch and building pockets of loving community centered around learning about Jesus will be a life long venture.

This next step in the life of our little church plant simply makes our experience that much more exciting.

So…with that said…consider this your official invitation to party with us April 27th at 1030 a.m. I’d love for you to join us as we celebrate God and Community. Our Sunday Gatherings will be at Buffum Total Learning Center in the beautifully diverse city of Long Beach.

See you there!!!

  1. Praise God for his favor, blessing, and provision for the vision He gave you. All glory to God as He fills those empty seats with souls (multiplying them) needing to learn and hear His Word. We will all worship together as the body of Christ.

    Acts 2:46-47
They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity — all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved.
